AdeptBase is an informational reference about antivirus software and everyday device security, written for a general audience in Australia. It is not a vendor, reseller, distributor, support channel or authorised representative of any product described on it, and it does not sell software, licences or services of any kind.

Nothing on this site is professional security, technical, financial or legal advice, and it is not tailored to any reader's circumstances. No page here examines, diagnoses or makes any claim about the state of your device. Decisions about software, security measures or a dispute with a seller should be made on the basis of the vendor's own documentation, your own circumstances and, where the matter warrants it, advice from a qualified professional or the relevant Australian authority.
3. Accuracy and change
Material here is prepared carefully and reviewed periodically, and the review date appears in the footer of every page. Even so, information about products changes without notice: prices, editions, features, system requirements, subscription terms and support arrangements are all set by the vendor and can change at any time. Always confirm anything that matters to your decision on the vendor's own site before purchasing. Where this site describes what an advertiser stated, it describes the statement, not an independently verified fact.

4. Links to other sites
This site links to vendors, to an advertising network and to Australian government bodies. Those sites are operated by other organisations and are outside the publisher's control. Once you follow a link you are governed by the destination's terms and privacy policy, not these. 9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Czech Republic, where the publisher is established, and the courts of the Czech Republic have jurisdiction over disputes about them. If you are a consumer resident in Australia, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory Australian consumer law, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of your own jurisdiction where the law gives you that right. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, the equivalent protections of your own country's law apply in the same way.
